Our church building, in the heart of Portadown's Killicomaine housing estate, has served us well since it was purchased almost twenty years ago but it is time to make some improvements.
The electrical installation needs to be replaced, our Sunday School is restricted by the lack of proper class rooms and we believe we could serve the local community better if our building could be open through the week for people to drop in, meet up with friends and have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. To do that we need to improve our catering facilities and make the building more accessible for the disabled.
After a lot of thought we believe the Lord would have us commence a building project to provide these extra facilities.
The total cost of the project will be about £150,000
So far we have £8.984.66
We do not know where the money is going to come from but we do know that if this is God's will He will provide whatever is needed.
So we are setting out on a venture of faith. We invite you to watch and see how our great and generous God provides for His work.
Visit this page from time to time and we will keep you up to date with progress.
Already we have had plans drawn and are ready to submit them for planning permission. We are grateful to Matthew Yeates who has offered his services as an architect free of charge.
