About KEC
Killicomaine Evangelical Church is a group of people who have been born again by the grace of God. We meet together to worship Him and to support and encourage one another in our Christian lives. We work together to serve Him in Killicomaine and we support people who serve Him in other places.
We welcome anyone who has been born again to join us in the worship and service of our Lord and we encourage all who are interested to find out about the things we believe to attend our services. Those who have formally become members of Killicomaine Evangelical Church have made a commitment to serve the Lord together and to support one another.
Our teaching emphasises the practical application of God's Word to everyday life in today's world. As for its content , we are bound by the Bible alone. Never the less we find it helpful to be able to present a clear summary of the doctrines we commend and for that purpose we have adopted and make use of the Baptist Confession of 1689. It is not required that every member of our church should be convinced of everything contained in it but the teaching you will hear from our pulpit will be consistent with it.
